Art & Science Exhibition 2020

This year’s Art and Science Exhibition was held on the 22nd of Feb 2020 based on the Theme “Water Consumption in Industries”. The purpose of this exhibition by the Grade IX students was to bring to light that tonnes and tonnes of water is being consumed in making simple everyday products that we take for granted. So, one must not waste such products or use things more than what is required. Simple methods to reduce water wastage were suggested. Every drop of water saved will go a long way to save our environment.

The Water Footprint of various industrial products like tissue paper, gold jewellery, chocolates, cookies, cars, jeans, and RO water. The various processes in manufacturing a product and the amount of water used to make that product were exhibited as models and charts. The visitors appreciated the students for their efforts.

Republic Day – 2020

The students of Grade VIII took pride in glorifying and celebrating the 71st Republic day of India on January 24, 2020. The students participated with enthusiasm and put forth a fantabulous performance. They showcased some memorable performances of dance and music along with a sensational street play on consumer awareness. The students also delivered sensible speeches that highlighted the values sown by our leaders and the role of youngsters in shaping India’s future. The show ended with the dance performance enthralling the audience with their graceful dance and thought-provoking message through performing arts.

Pongal 2020

Pongal is an agricultural festival that brings happiness and enthusiasm in the hearts of the people. This festival is celebrated to spread the message of peace, prosperity, good health and good wishes. This festive mood was created in our school on 10.1.2020 among the children. Various traditional games were played. Rangoli and Pongal making intra house contests were organized in the campus. Grade IV and VI took us to the “village” by their mesmerizing cultural programmes. The importance of a farmer and their dedications were emphasized in the speeches. The pongal celebration ended with a great fervour.
