The school counsellor is a vital member of the education team. She helps all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development, and career development, ensuring students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow. The counsellor gives clear directions, solves problems, listens to problems, shows concern, and encourages every student to behave well in school as well as outside. The counsellor works with teachers, parents, students, and co-workers to develop a comfortable healthy school environment.
