Rules & Regulations

  • Punctuality is first and foremost. Late comers will be allowed to attend classes with
    permission from the principal.
  • Students who come to school escorted shall not leave before the escort arrives.
  • Any act to disturb the rules and principles of the school will be viewed seriously.
  • English must be spoken in classrooms, campus, and buses (except in language
    classes)
  • Home assignments, Tasks, Record book & Projects should be submitted in prescribed
    time.
  • Birthday celebrations are NOT allowed inside the campus. Parents are advised NOT
    to send sweets, chocolates etc., with children during Birthdays and celebrations.
    Exchange of gifts and Birthday bumps inside the school premises are forbidden.
    Instead, Saplings or books for the library can be gifted on birthdays.
  • Children cannot wear colour dresses on birthdays.
  • Students are not allowed to wear any other dresses apart from school uniforms.
  • Moving in and out of classrooms between periods should be in an orderly manner.
  • Parents are allowed to speak to the Teachers only with prior appointment and during
    PTM.
  • It is advised to NOT send the fees amount through wards. Also, in case sent through
    any representatives it should be accompanied with an authorization letter.
  • Students are not allowed to entertain teachers with gifts.
  • Unless clearly instructed, money should not be sent to school except the ward’s out
    of pocket expenses and money should not exceed Rs .100/-
  • Any other valuable things like Gold, Diamonds, Platinum etc are not allowed.
  • Students are not allowed to bring any digital devices, Laptop, Mobile phones, I-pods,
    I-pads, Digital Camera, Memory & Storage devices etc., If found it will be confiscated.
  • High standard of conduct and behaviour is expected of every student about speech
    and action in all their manifestations.
  • Discourtesy to Staff, visitors and fellow students are forbidden.
  • Wards are expected to be polite always and to greet their teachers whenever they
    meet them.
  • Bullying and use of foul language will be viewed seriously.
  • Students are expected to respect the school property. They are forbidden from
    causing any damage to the furniture, Buildings, and any other school belongings.
    They should not litter and keep the campus clean and tidy at all times.
  • Students using unfair means during examinations/contests/tests will face disciplinary
    action.
  • Use of chewing gums and any form of tobacco products are punishable offences.
  • Tattooing is not allowed.
  • All students are expected to attend school regularly and punctually.
  • Every student is required to have an attendance of not less than 85% of the working
    days in the school.
  • Taking leave on Sports Day, Independence Day, School Day, Republic Day or for other
    school functions will be viewed seriously.
  • Attendance to the sessions and all the activities of the school including field trips,
    participation in curricular or extracurricular activities are compulsory.
  • Leave shall be taken only with the prior sanction by the Class teacher and Principal.
  • If leave is taken due to urgent or unforeseen circumstances, post facto sanction is to
    be taken within 2 days of the student joining the school.
  • If a student takes leave for more than three days continuously a written intimation
    should be sent to the principal on the fourth day.
  • Those absent due to sickness must present a medical certificate within 3 days of
    absence through email, or to the school office.
  • A child returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease
    should produce a fitness certificate from a doctor.
  • Students suffering from any one of the following diseases must observe the
    prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class.

    • Chicken Pox – Till complete falling of scabs
    • Cholera – Till the child is completely well.
    • Measles – Two weeks after the rash disappears.
    • Mumps – Until the swelling has gone.
    • Whooping Cough – Six Weeks.
    • Jaundice – Six Weeks.
    • Viral Infections (COVID-19, Common cold, flu, etc) – Prescribed medicaladvice.
    • Any other health issue – As per the medical advice
    • Repeated absence without leaves or unexplained absence for more than ten
      consecutive days renders the student liable to have his / her name struck off the
      rolls; readmission may be granted only on special cases.
    • No retest or re-exam will be conducted for absentees whatever may be the reason.
    • To be promoted at the end of the academic year, the student’s attendance will be
      taken into consideration along with their performance in examinations.
